Mission Statement:

The Jason Ackerman Foundation focuses on improving the lives of children who have faced and survived tragic circumstances through educational support and entertaining experiences.

What we do:

We provide support through scholarship programs, financial assistance, and interactive activities.

Programs:

The Jason Ackerman Memorial Scholarships

Granted annually, celebrating children who have survived health issues or circumstances beyond their control and continue to thrive with a true plan in place on how they intend to ‘pay it forward’.

All scholarships are granted through an application process and chosen by the Jason Ackerman Foundation Scholarship Committee. A qualified assembly of educators and business professionals with the goal of distributing funding to applicants with the greatest financial need and the greatest desire to be a positive influence in our community.

Applications are available on-line with a deadline for submission of May 3, 2013. Scholarships to be awarded June 7, 2013.

Funds are distributed directly to community colleges, four-year universities and vocational training schools with-in the state of Florida.

Scholarships are renewable each year with funds being given directly to the awarded student’s program of choice.
